1. Knowledge- select one character from the novel “The Outsiders” who has the qualities of a heroine/hero. List the qualities and tell why you think they are heroic.

3. Application- THINK of a situation that occurred to a character in the story “The Outsiders” and write about how you would have handled the situation differently.

Johnny is doing a great deal of saving the kids and risk his life, if it was me I wouldn’t have dared to save the kids from those hot flames. I would just called the fire fighter to help and hope that the church have not crashed.

The Outsiders was a good story, it was a heroic story where the greasers (Protagonist), was to be treated differently from the Socs (Antagonist).

The character and how the story goes tells us that we should be treated the same as others.
